There is unexpectedly a lot to be gleaned from this short amateur biography. If you just persevere past the initial scenes of her making a cake with the finesse of a slaughter-house butcher, you’ll make your way to her incongruous youth and an assortment of creepy characters reminiscing about her lascivious role in a famous scene in American cinema. That’s when you’ll begin seeing the cake scenes differently, marvel over our capabilities outpacing our moral character, the lack of actual impact our uncovering our biases has had on our confidence in our judgment, and the ubiquity of polarity in both the physical and the metaphysical as well as the diversity that exists in every quadrant of existence.
